EGEMEN BAGIS APPEARS ON MEHMET SOYSAL'S "IN PRIVATE " ON TGRT

Mr. Egemen Bagis, AK Party Vice Chairman in charge of Foreign Affairs appeared on TGRT News Broadcasting Director Mehmet Sosyal's "In Private" program that he prepares and presents. Broadcasted on the 4th of January 2008, Bagis answered questions on the current subjects and also underlined issues on the Turkish foreign policy. Bagis also mentioned the terrorist activity that has occurred in Diyarbakir and stated: "The assaults in the city centers are the last fluttering. Dear citizens, please accept my condolences. This is a bullet that has been shot to the brotherhood in Turkey, to the peace in Turkey."

Mr. Bagis also reminded that in AK Party government's vision there is no separation between East and West, the same services are brought to East and West and also the reward of this has been taken on the July 22nd elections and the October 21st referendum.

Mr. Bagis answered the question of Mr. Soysal on Fazil Say's declarations about leaving Turkey and said: "He made a mistake. We still should be tolerant. In fact he should evaluate why it has become so easy to leave the country."
