24TH MEETING OF THE REFORM MONITORING GROUP

The 24th meeting of the Reform Monitoring Group (RMG) was hosted in Konya by Ahmet Davutoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of Sadullah Ergin, Minister of Justice, Egemen Bagis, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Idris Naim Sahin, Minister of Interior and Efkan Ala, Undersecretary of the Prime Ministry. 

24th Reform Monitoring Group Meeting Press Statement was released.

RMG aims at monitoring the progress achieved in terms of political criteria which is one of the most important components of the EU accession process, and discussing the possible steps that can be taken in order to present the citizens the highest norms and standards in the forthcoming period.

The 25th RMG meeting will be held in Istanbul on 16 or 17 March 2012 under the auspices of Egemen Bagis, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator.
