BAGİS SUPPORTS LEBANON İN BESİKTAS PLAZA

Within the framework of the "AK Points" project, İstanbul Deputy Egemen Bagis informed the public at Besitas district on supporting Lebanon and handed out brochures. While handing out the brochures, Mr. Bagis commented about the project and the Lebanon issue on the agenda: "The AK Points project is one of the projects that aim to bring together our party and government with our people. Through this project, the public finds the opportunity to contact the government directly with the help of the deputies and members of the administrative board working on these points. Hence, the government ensures a more accurate and realistic flow of information by joining the people. Ignorant people are obligated to lose their awareness. As AK Party, it is our duty to keep aware our sensitive public. As the government in grief for the events in Lebanon, we seek support of our people and our National Assembly."

Egemen Bagis, finding the opportunity to observe closely the reactions of Besiktas public, also asserted: "In handing out these brochures, which have bank account numbers printed on them, our aim is to collect contributions for the Lebanese. We too, are aware of our people's sensitivity about this issue as other aid organizations do. The AK Party administration will lead a Pro-active policy in the region and in the world with the sensitivity and the courage it finds within the nation. Today I've understood that our people and the voters of Besiktas are also of the same opinion."
