TURKISH CULTURE IS BEING PUBLICIZED IN EUROPE
The activity called "Turkey: The Missing Star" which was organized to help publicize Turkish culture and arts in Europe started in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands with the participation of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis.
Bagis stated that they made an effort to convey the European identity of Turkey with its cinema, dance and music to the European allies and friends through this activity which was co-organized by Prime Ministry Publicity Fund, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, The Hague Embassy and TURSAK Foundation.
Bagis pointed out that these types of activities were also appropriate responses to those who worked against Turkey and Islam.
Egemen Bagis said, "The Netherlands supports Turkey's EU process but it avoids being loud in this support compared to certain other countries" and noted that he believed this support would become stronger as a result of the contacts they made thus far and activities they would engage in the future.
