EGEMEN BAGIS IS IN THE LIST OF YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS

In the list of Young Global Leaders which is conventionally selected by World Economic Forum, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis takes a place.

Young Global Leaders are selected among the candidates from academia, business, arts, civil society, politicians and technicians who may have the criteria of the potential effect to shape the World's future.

The Young Global Leaders of 2011 is composed of 190 Young Global Leaders from 65 countries.

The new list represents consists of 190 candidate : East Asia (50), South Asia (18), Europe (42), Middle East and North Africa (13), sub-Saharan Africa (14), North America (36) and Latin America (17). This year's selection has more gender parity than ever, with 44% women.

In the list that has been announced by the Forum, as a second Turkish representative, there is Özlem Denizmen who is the director of strategy group of Doğus Holding.
