ONE STATE, ONE FLAG AND ONE NATION
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said that no other politician put emphasis on "one state, one flag and one nation" concept as much as the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan did.
Answering the questions of the MPs during the negotiations on the Draft Law on the Budget of the Central Government in TGNA General Assembly, Bagis called Mumin Inan, the Nigde MP of MHP, to make some archive research upon his question of "why the Prime Minister kept silent about autonomy claims that were brought into question recently".
Bagis stated that no other politician put emphasis on "one state, one flag and one nation" concept as much as the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan did, and continued: "Blaming the Prime Minister who made several speeches on the issue for being silent could just be due to ignorance or evil purpose. I would like to call the MP who asked that question to read, listen and learn more."
Indicating that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey could not be accused for such an attitude, Bagis said: "Today the deputy president of the governing party made a clear statement on the issue. Answering the autonomy claims at Prime Minister level would mean to treat them seriously. Our deputy president has already answered them and the Prime Minister at least for one thousand times said, "one state, one flag and one nation".
