EU PROCESS IS THE LOCOMOTIVE OF TURKEY'S FOREIGN POLICY
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis periodically writes articles to newspapers and his last article was published for "Misafir Kalem" column in Turkiye daily newspaper on July 20, 2010 and there, Bagis made assessments regarding the EU membership process and commented on the issues on the agenda.

While discussions on "axis shift" are continuing; on the one hand Turkey keeps open the communication and dialogue channels with all regions of the world, on the other hand Turkey continues its dynamism in the EU process. Intensive efforts in the Presidential and Prime Ministerial level make Turkey's global vision and leadership stronger.
During the 15th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre, Mr. Prime Minister said "We will never forget Srebrenica and will not let it be forgotten" by sharing his grief and this statement attracted attention all over the world. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been the first Turkish Prime Minister visiting Serbia, and he participated in the opening ceremony of the Turkish Cultural Center in Yeni Pazar.
