AMBASSADORS OF EU MEMBER COUNTRIES ATTENDED THE CEREMONY ORGANIZED FOR THE 11 SOLDIERS WHO DIED MARTYRS IN A TERRORIST ATTACK

A ceremony for the 11 soldiers who died martyrs in a terrorist attack that took place in Semdinli district of Hakkari was organised in Van, and Ambassadors and embassy officials of EU member states attended it en masse for the first time.

The ambassadors who came to Van upon the invitation of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis for attending the activities within the context of "Fakiye Teyran Culture Festival" conveyed their condolences. Festival activities were called off.
