ISTANBUL MODERN IS 5 YEARS OLD

Egemen Bagis, Minister for EU Affairs and the Chief Negotiator, together with his wife Beyhan Bagis , attended the Gala Modern Night which was organized within the scope of the 5th year celebrations of Istanbul Modern Art Museum.

Bagis touched upon, in every occasion, the importance of art in the development of a country and the necessity of its being assimilated by the population. Bagis had pioneered in the establishment of Istanbul Modern and Silahtaraga Santral Museums.

Kadir Topbas, The Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality; Bulent Eczacibasi, Chairman of the Executive Board of Eczacibasi; Arzuhan Dogan Yalcındag, the Chairwoman of the Board of TUSIAD and a large number of guests from the art and business world also attended the event.
