AK Party Central Executive Committee Member

Since the 3rd of September 2007 I have been assigned as a member of Central Executive Committee (CEC), as the Deputy Chairman of AK Party in charge of Foreign Affairs.

The Central Executive Committee (CEC) is the highest executive body of the Party composed of the Party Chairman, Deputy Chairmen of the Party, the General Secretary,  Parliamentary Caucus Chairman and Whips.

CEC members other than the Party Chairman and Whips are appointed by the Party Chairman from among CDAC members.

Party Chairman is the president of the CEC. In the absence of the Party Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Party  in the line of protocol shall preside over the Committee.

CEC shall meet at least once a week. The quorum for meetings is the majority of its members, and decisions shall be taken with a simple majority of members, except in special cases as described in the Charter.

  Aiming to serve his country, Bagis continues as a minister to adopt the principles of "Strength in Unity" and "Unity in Tolerance" as the basis of all his endeavors.
