21st MEETING OF REFORM MONITORING GROUP

The 21st Meeting of the Reform Monitoring Group (RMG) was held in Ankara on 26 July 2010 under the chairmanship of Minister of Interior Besir Atalay, and with the participation of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin, and Minister for Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu.

Constitutional amendment package and the referendum process, legislation work on fight against terrorism, and the chapters 23 and 24 in the EU process were addressed in the meeting.

Minister Atalay stated that the 22nd Meeting of the Reform Monitoring Group would be held in Istanbul on the 17th of September under the chairmanship of Minister for EU affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis.
