İstanbul’da yaşayan yabancı yatırımcı ve işadamlarını bünyesinde buluşturan Propeller Club 18 Nisan 2006 tarihinde “ABD-Türkiye ilişkileri - Yeni bir yaklaşım” adında bir yemekli toplantı düzenledi.

100’yi aşkın yabancı misafirin ilgiyle dinledikleri ana konuşmacı Başbakan Dış İlişkiler Danışmanı Bağış, Türkiye’de yaşayan ABD’li işadamlarına “Türkiye bir yatırım cenneti. Bence ABD’de iş yaptığınız arkadaşlarınızı Türkiye’ye yatırım yapmak için çağırmalısınız” diyerek çağrıda bulundu.

NATO Parliamentarian Delegation

NATO Partnerships Sub-Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s Political Committee visited The Sultanate of Oman for assessments. In the delegation led by German Parliamentarian Hon. Karl Lamers, Egemen Bagis represented the Transatlantic Relations Sub-Committee which he chairs.

The Turkish Day Parade organized annually in May will be held on May 20th this year. Accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Hon. Mehmet Ali Sahin, Mr. Bagis will head a delegation of five members of Parliament (Hon. Sukru Elekdag, Hon. Reha Denemec, Hon. Zeynep Damla Gurel and Hon. Mevlut Cavusoglu) as guests of honor of the parade and festival which carries double significance this year.

Bagis: “Turkey’s geography has historically been a crossroads. We can play the same role in the Energy field”

Egemen Bagis, J&D Party MP for Istanbul and Foreign Policy Advisor of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, underlining the geography of Turkey has historically been a meeting and crossing point of various religions and cultures, said “We can do the same in the Energy field”

Bagis spoke at the Brussels Forum in a session entitled “Do we need a Transatlantic Energy Security Policy?” organized by the US based German Marshall Fund (GMF) sponsored by Daimler Chrysler, Bertelsmann, Monitor Group and the government of Belgium.
