EU COMMUNICATION STRATEGY ADVISORY AND STEERING COMMITTEE CONVENED

EU Communication Strategy Consultation and Steering Committee Meeting was held at the Secretariat General for EU Affairs. Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Minister for EU Affairs and the Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis stated that no power, neither in Europe nor in Turkey, would be able to stop that process and he added that patience and time were needed for EU to understand Turkey better and for Turkey to appreciate the contributions of EU.

For the first time in the history of the Council of Europe, a Turkish parliamentarian has been elected as the new President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
